Default Adjusting EK headlights....I already tried the 2 screws

I pulled over last night cause my Hipers were nailing this cop in the rear view mirror, so he does a boggie, gets behind me and busts me He says "you have 2 weeks to fix your lights" so I got home and tried adjusing it using the 2 screws and it didn't even make a difference. How can I lower the beam so it is focused on the road

what screws did you manipulate? The way to adjust them is with a phillips head screwdriver. It is not a screw, however. it's a little thing where the teeth of the screwdriver are gear teeth that intermesh with another little gear. This, in turn, adjusts the lights. Look at the backside of the headlight housing and it should make some sense. I'm a little buzzed right now, so technical writing isn't my forte.

why won't you just put your lights back to stock and get them written off and then put the hiper bulbs back in afterward. just a thought.

I'm not Halo, but the answer will probably go something like this:

The beam pattern isn't going to change with the bulb replacement. If it's hitting the cop's mirror with the "Hiper" bulbs, it's going to do the same with a pair of General Electrics.

LOL.....actually we are on the same page. The problem is the two opposing gears per screw is not adjusting the reflector. The gears are turning but nothing is happening

Hmmm....well, all I can say is that in my experience, the reflectors move very slowly, to allow for precise aiming. It SHOULD take lots of turns to move it down a little bit. For better results, try aiming them onto a wall from a good distance. You should see the beam cutoff go down as you turn it in the correct direction. (if they aren't busted!)
