have you taken out the 32mm axles nut?
if not then usually the but have been dented in on the edge so it wouldn't move..all you have to do is get a flat head screw driver and tap it back into a circular shape and loosen the nut..ther is a trick i use but sticking a screw driver into the rotor vent and spin it til it hit the caliper (depending on which side axles you taking out) and then use a torque ratchet and loosen the nut...
hope this help..

axles ge rusted pretty bad in the splines. use a hammer but dont hit the crap out of it or you will not be able to thread the nut back on. linkage? if you mean shift linkage one of the bars unbolts and the other comes out with the tranny. if you mean another linkage please specify.

well in that case then spray some WD40 or rust penetrate can to the spline/hub and use a sledge type hammer and tap it out..and like the other guy mention becareful not to damage the head of it or else you can't thread the nut back in...
as for the linkage, if you're refering to the shift linkage...there is a lil pin that lock into the the linkage and the tranny. use a 10mm bolt or something similar in size to the pin and tap it out by using a hammer..

Get the lower control arm lose by getting the castle nut, than pull on the rotor, it while lightly hammering the axle, if not comming out, that should do the trick. If not post up more probs. hurry up

DONOT USE A SLEDGE HAMMER. you will damage the transmission!

If you are droping the motor out from under the car just remove it with the hub then it will come off the tranny and use what you like

it not a sledge hammer...i'm refering to a smaller hammer but look just like a sledge hammer because using that will give you more pounding presure..and i mean TAP not swang that **** out of it...and why you want the guy to take the motor out with the whole susnpesion? that the harder way, assuming he has a cherry picker and all he has to do is take one axle out..do what the other guy about mention and take out the castle nut for the LCA and lift the hub out from the LCA and try to pull back on the axle while pulling the whole hub toward you..
