Little thing- Carfax is true for the most part but they still have some BS. Ha if I woulda know about the offer of theirs I woulda waited on getting my car and pocketed 500 from them.
I bought my car and yeah I was told it was a salavaged title. But I bought it anyways. Well a few months later while my brother is looking for a car so I decided I'd run my VIN for some giggles and see what came up. Well Carfax said that it didn't have a salavaged title, and I coulda claimed that their report was false and gotton 10% from what the car costed.

Actually my friend also got a car off of EBAY seemed fine at first. Did a carfax after getting the car, says it's clean though the car looks like it has been in a wreck. It also smells with fuel when you fill the car up with gas, Trunk lid is mis aligned. Frame appears to be reheated in some spots and sprayed with hi temp black or some other paint. Car Fax said no to the 10% for some reason....
Also a car we own had been in a wreck it's a 90 323 it was salvaged titled by the insurance, carfax says it's clean though the insurance lost our salvage title and when we asked for a new title it came up clean. I can't get the 10% because carfax says it's been rolled back and the car has 328,000 miles which is BS though we are the 2nd owners why because, no mazda can withstand that with teh OEM tranny and engine (same vins).

Carfax gives the owner of the car 10% of it's value (KBB/NADA) because of their mistake in the histroy of the car
