Engine slowly eating oil and bucking like crazy ?????
I have noticed a lil bit of oil on my header exh. plate where is bolts to the head, and a little bit around the head. I checked my oil yesterday and it was down a quart! Im not dripping any oil and as far as I know Im not burning any (no blue smoke) so what could it be? My dad suggested that since I run it to 7k a few times a week that that could be the reason why. Im not really sure.... Any help would be excellant. My car has never idled correct since the engine swap. I have had to replace the TPS once. Since then @ 2200rpm, 1500-1800rpm my car bucks. It only does it when under 1/8 throttle (barely on the gas) as soon as I give it gas it goes away. If I give my car gas while @ idle it goes up to what I rev it to, then drops and gets stuck between the mentioned rpms above.... This has gotten worse since it has gotten colder.... Any help with these issues would be great! BTW it is throwing a code for IACV, which I have cleaned like 3 times with gas....

I would do a compress/leakdown. sounds to me like a head gasket going bad. And since it is colder it takes longer for the head to heat up and expand making up for gaps due to a slightly warped head
if its throwing the code for iacv and your idle sucks, and you already tried cleaning, i think its time to replace that.
Well yeah I know that, I thought that maybe the TPS could have something to do with it.... Anyone on the oil issue?
