hey wassup guyz. here's my situation. i have a 93 dx hatchback w/ a jdm d15b sohc vtec with vtec wiring harness. with no vtec wired up yet. with dx ecu. and i just got a vafc yesterday. i was just wondering how do i wire up vtec? can i wire it up to my vafc?or just wire it up normally to the ecu? i dunno if im makin sense but. thats my situation.

 

yea you can do it.

but i would suggest getting the correct ecu and harness , and then hooking up the vafc.

if you wanna do it the other way. just hook the output up from the vafc to the vtec solenoid, as long as your getting the rest of you reading from the ecu, such as oil pressure, rpm, etc. you should be fine. i never got it to work quit right this way though.
