I was wondering how big of a shot can my motor handle with my setup? i found a killer deal on a Zex kit.
b16a2 block Type R head, Type R LSD tranny, Iceman Intake, DC 4-1 header, MSD ignition W/Blaster Coil, STR fuel rail and Holley FPR,Fields Vtec Controller, and Chipped P28. I was thinking along the lines of using a 50 or 75 shot. Just curious would i have to do any ignition timing or cam timing with that. Thanks

 

Start out with a 55 shot and work your way up. The engine will be fine on a 75 shot. I had my ZEX 75 shot on my stock D16Y8 for more than a year with no problems. I'm not starting to play with 100 and 125 shots now that I have a built motor.
