my friend has a code 38 or 48 on his 90 crx si, and I was wondering if anyone knows what these codes are. If anyone knows please post it. Thanks alot.

 

38 doesnt exsist, however this is 48

Heated Oxygen Sensor (D15Z1 Engine Only, Except California Emission)

assuming he has one of the engines above, that sensor is the problem.

 

what ecu are you using- the highest code for a 88-91 crx is 20.
