you should get an aftermarket engine management unit. ie. hondata, AEM EMS, e-manage.

the greddy blue box sucks anyways,
you can use the stock ecu,
but you need something to control your fuel, so you dont run lean and kill your motor.
thecheapest is an FMU, it basically puts hella pressure on your fuel system based on the ammount of boost it sees. Its cheap.. not that reliable, but gets the job done.
next up is the AFC hack, with an apexi afc(s or v) and bigger injectors.
you can also do this with the SMC+ which works basically the same, only its less expensive, and not as pretty as the apexi unit(it has no pretty digital blue readout)
then on the expensive end of things, theres hondata, aem ems, zdyne

i first used the blue box on my setup and blew it to shreds. then i tried using an FMU and didn't like the gas mileage and not being able to tune it. then i moved to the AFC hack and liked that a whole lot more(i was also using UberChip to retard my timing) and with a 3bar Map i was able to get it up to 14.5 psi and whp around 240 with low comp. pistons and small exhaust. while i was getting used to it, i was saving up for a hondata and after a few month with the afc, i swapped over and i know make 290whp and 264wtq with hondata on pump gas.
sorry i'm typing non-sense but i'm really tired...and what i'm trying to say is, the little hacks and FMUs are usually just there to get you up and running till you can save up for a standalone of some sort. don't worry if you have to settle for a cheap setup, it's a lot cheaper and will have your car up and running with less time. and yes with these cheap setups, you'll also be retaining your stock ecu.
with standalones, your ecu must either be modified or just plain eliminated and replaced with the standalone ecu.
