Has anyone even been as silly as me to consider adding a turbo to a HX or a D16Y5?

 

I've heard of turbo'd DX's but not any HX's. Sorry can't help you much. Hope you know you just opened the flood gates for a whole lot of Hybrid/ talk. Let the preaching begin.

 

Yup, everyone can talk about the Hybrid all they want, also if they want to talk they can find me a 2000 engine cause I want to stay California legal.

 

i would turbo its possible just use the older greddy sohc kits and adapt to fit run same boost 6 pounds and have fun. its been done numerous times. its enver gonna get you the same pwr as swap but it will be fun.

 

Why the **** would anyone do that????

 

Just wondering, you know, it is people like you who are afraid to attempt something that no one else thinks of or wants to try because it "can't be done" or "it isn't worth it".....whatever man.

 

If people boost D15's, then there's no reason why you can't/shouldn't boost your D16Y5 if you want to, your car your choice, go for it!

 

I didn't bring this back from the dead, seaquake did. I'm just curious why the hell he brings it back then deletes his reply???
