I don't know anyone with a black civic. Which of of my friends that have blown brake lines? And, what "screw" noises, are you refering to?

Once a month? Are there that many events. When can I start. How do I find info on this? How far is the track?

Shaun's given you a great link. There's , on avg., about 6-9 events planned/month. The tracks that I go to most frequently (willowspings/buttonwillow) are ~ 3.5 hrs. from SD. Laguna Seca, Thunderhill and Sears Point are ~ 8 hrs. away.

Awesome link
Luguna Seca is worth it... can't say for the other long drive tracks...
Buttonwillow take us usually 4 hours or so..depending on bladder and Denny's
Willowsprings is about 3 I think..
Streets of willow is next door to willow springs.. so 3 hours and 2 mins

I have tein ha's with a 12kg/mm front spring , and an 8kg/mm rear. I won't be at the event. I don't like the streets of willow, at all. Part of the reason is the track surface (it 's terrible). Since the surface at streets is so bumpy and rough, I ran my shocks pretty soft (about 1/2 way softer than normal). I tried varoius setting in back to back runs, and found that I couldn't get any traction wityh my baseline shock settings, got a ton of understeer when I went stiffer and was "comfortable" with much, much softer settings. I run about 14 in the front and 10 in the rear, normally, and ran 7&5 at streets.
hth's.
