17 X7.5 with 45mm offset..anybody know?

17 X7.5 with 45mm offset..anybody know?
my gf has a 4 door eg. she wants 17's. i found some c10's in bronze on ebay that are 17 by 7.5 and 45 offset. b/c they are 7.5 wide... will that be a good offset? or will the wheels sit in too much. thanks
