More newbie questions. Nitrous
Ok.. I did a search and read a bunch of articles, but still a little confused.
NOS increases HP by making the fuel burn hotter, but the nitrogen cools the engine so it does not over heat (basically right?)
Ok.. so how does the car handled the increased HP.. I mean.. with NOS wouldnt you redline every time, and isnt that the dangerous part?
Still a little confused of what NOS does while you are in the car.
Can some one give me a step by step.
At the light..... turns green and.............

if you using nitrous, your probably racing, which would mean taking it up to redline...thats the only place this car makes real power anyway...
redline is not bad for your car

just by using nitrous it wont put your car at redline as soon as your use it. It will just reach the redline quicker.. thats point make more power to accelerate faster.
Nitrous Oxide is comprised of 2 atoms of nitrogen, 1 oxygen. Basically, nitrous works by adding more oxygen to the cylinders. In return, you must add more fuel.
You can run a 55 shot fine without addition fuel. I do. You can add more fuel by increasing fuel pressure, depending on how much more fuel you need you may need to upgrade fuel pump, fuel rail, injectors. Buy a fuel pressure regulator. The aem one is good but a little price, you can get a b&m one for about 50 bucks.
