Default radiators! stock vs. fluidyne

so i cracked my radiator today.. well i didnt crack it but its cracked.. So far ive found generic stock replacements for as cheap as 120, and ive found the fluidyne for as cheap as 365.. Havent found an OEM one yet but ive heard its between 350-450 from acura..

I need advise as to whether i could swing the generic and save some money or if i should bite the bullit and get the fluidyne.. or just settle for OEM... I will be FI in a few weeks so im thinken the fluidyne might not be too bad of an investment..

If you have to deal with hot summers in Dallas (and I suspect you do) the Fluidyne would be an excellent investment.

I just ordered a C&R alumi radiator from Larry at Import Auto Salvage in NC. The price was $439 and it comes with dual SPAL fans. I also ordered my 84.5mm RW's from him too. Hopefully my stuff will arrive next week but who knows when I will get them because of the shipping problems caused by the WTC and Pentagon attacks.

Mine's in the mail. Fluidyne... I wish i could have gotten my hands on a real pic of a blue C&R though, but that might be too much blue for one engine compartment

I have a Fluidyne in my car with a SPAL fan. Works great! Car never gets hot, even sitting at a light in the 100 degree weather.

Curious as to what temperatures your cars run at?
