..So the time has come and i need to upgrade my stock radiator.. the car is a 1992 Civic hatchback Si and its running the stock radiator.. which just blew the other day. I've heard many stories that a simple upgrade for my car would be to just get an OEM dual core radiator, or an All Aluminum radiator, and some even said just to get the stock OEM replacement because it will still do the job. But my concern is what about fitment? i want one that requires no problems in fitting, but it should also be an upgrade and also should be somewhere in the price range of 100-200 bucks. Also, whats the best brand? Koyo? Fluidyne? etc.?

if your swapped or boosted or something i would get a koyo or fluidyne otherwise i would just get an oem replacement. if you plan on swapping you would be fine with a del sol dual core. im swapping in a few months and just got an oem replacement for $75 shipped form http://www.radiatorexpress.com/default.asp

thanks, my car is bone stock but i should be getting some power down the road so i might just upgrade now. I guess the best bang for the buck would be the oem replacement radiator from the del sol.. hmmmmm...

I just put my KOYO on the other day, it hits my hood so im gonna have to do some "engineering"

I got a all metal (copper core/brass end tanks) CSF dual core from http://www.absoluteradiator.com. About $142 with 2-day air shipping. It was a perfect fit and I won't have to worry about cracking an end tank again lol. I think it was like $116 ground shipped, goodluck

same problem with me but the oem radiator i got was 100 bucks. and the dual core all metal radiator would have been 255 bucks. the choice is yours.

wow, big difference.. i guess i'm just going to go with the stock replacement.
