i recently found that I may need a need radiator on my 94 ls...im at 60k mi or so..is this common? this ******* sucks... how much can i expect to spend for a OEM radiator? (parts only) anyone know..any sugg for finding one elsewhere?

 

i think aftermarket radiators are around $2-300

OEM are about the same i think

personally i'd go aftermarket, those showa aluminum radiators are kinda weak

 

Yes the radiator seem to be a weak point in G3 Tegs and everyone has a problem w/ them sooner or later. Try looking at www.radiator.com for a cheap generic OEM replacement for under 150$. Cheap considering the OEM radiator is about 360$ from acuraautomotiveparts.net...

 

Mine went out at 50,100 miles... just 100 miles after warranty was over!! I got an all metal one for $125 now...

Great prices and lifetime warranty, much better than spending $350+ for a radiator at the dealer......

 

if you really want to be cheap, you can have some1 weld up ur leaking radiator. that will save you alot of money
