was on rr goin on the highway, all the sunnen i drop to 4th to get around this grandma goin supper slow(finally got the chance to change lanes), i hear this **** like a belt is hitting something. open the hood and its my p/s belt, came off.. (got this car from PAT 'xtegx'), so i bought some p/s fluid after getting the belt back on, i went to buy some p/s fluid, caz it was low squeeling noises ****... and it still makes the noise. sounds like the flywheel or some **** is loose now... so when i wsa rollin back home goin down colerain ave, i gets louder. then it gets hard to get into ANY GEAR!!! WTF! so now im constandly hearing this grinding noise type deal when im idleing, or shifting gears, i mean a kinda loud noise. but when i press the clutch pedel in u dont hear that noise.. wtf is wrong im totally confused? pat told me it was a brand new ACT EXTREME CLUTCH KIT/EXTREME PRESSURE PLATE(not even 3k on it). can someone plz help me out. i hope its nothing major.... this sucks.

 

clunking/grinding/knocking noise coming from the tranny that goes away when clutch is depressed = bad main shaft bearing (aka input shaft bearing)
