Project Madness!!! Part 2...
Here's a little update for those who have been asking...
I got all my parts in at the end of last week and finally got some assembly done in the past 2 days. I spent about 8 hours on it yesterday and maybe 5 or 6 today. I got the whole bottom end put together now, and put the balence shafts back in just to fill the holes.
I figure I got about another full week and I should be ready to start breaking it in and then it's off to the dyno to get some tuning in and put down some new numbers just in time for winter.
Here's some eye candy for everyone...

I got some more on the camera still but I'll save the rest of the buildup pictures for part 3. Stay tuned... ;D

My car is black with gold/bronze wheels and gold/bronze accents so I figured I'd put some pimp in the engine bay..

Just curious but why is there green stuff in the cylinders already? I would of thought that when the sleeves were installed they would of hot tanked the entire assembly and possibly spray a light coat of oil on it to prevent any corrosion. I'm suprised to see coolant already on it.
The green shyte is just some excess assembly lube on them from doing the mains just before those pics nothing big...

Here's a pic of the timing belt side. It's not complete but mostly everything but the auto tensioner. I've decided to do the h23 manual conversion so now I'm waiting for the parts from the dealership to finish.

yeah so did I. I took a pic of my old motor before I took it all apart. I had my laptop on the bench with a full size blown up pic to go by when I reassembled...
