HELP! clutch engaging but pedal not popping all the way out
PLEASE HELP my clutch pedalis not popping all the way out. IT will engauge the clutch fine (even feels a lil harder) but now there is 0 play in the pedal and as soon as you touch the pedal the clutch starts to slip. I dont know what is going on. I thought the floor mats were catching it so I took them out and it is still happening. I checked my slave cylinder level and it was a lil low so I filled it (lil too much) and it is still happening. But not all of the time some times it will come on all the way up does any one know what is going on???
I agree - time to start checking the clutch hydraulic system, especially the slave and master cylinders.
Also, more info might help - how many miles on current clutch?

I have a similar problem...if you can call it that.
The first inch or so when you press the clutch takes no prssure at all. Then it goes in as normal, and engages fine. Then when you take your foot of the clutch, on its way up, the arm sticks about an inch from all the way out, the same place it gets easy to push. It then pops back up in a couple seconds.
That may be a bit hard to understand
77k on stock clutch...

yeap, bleed it first...pressure loss without messing with the parts is a sign of worn master and slave cylinders
