Out running SVT cobras
Ok this is my layout plan..I wanna out run the SVT Cobra for starters I have a GSR motor rebuilt, and Im getting Hondata for my managment as well...So if anyone that has a Civic Coupe with a GSR swap thats turboed out already PM cause I have questions..and if anyone is intrested in my layout i'll be gladly to show it to you.
Instead of asking people to PM you, why dont you list your questions so people can answer them for you? With the stuff you stated already, I highly doubt very many people are going to take you seriously.
What exactly is your question here? Just post it. If you want to outrun an svt, you better plan on running high boost and i would count on an sc61. Out running a true performance automobile if our econmy cars can prove to be slightly tough and somewhat expensive..

id say more around a 13flat out of the box. more could obviously be expected with slicks

Actually, he would need to run mid to high 12's - same as those cars.
By outrunning - I'm thinking Highway pulls.
I raced my friends 2002 Z06 from a light and he crucified me, but I was catching him. However, drop the hammer at 60 MPH and I walked him every time.
An SVT Cobra running 12.5 will have a lower MPH than a Turbo Civic running 12.5. So technically, the Civic would eventually "outrun" it, just not off the line.

The best part about the supercharged Cobra's are they are very, very easy to modify to make 450-500 hp and still look stock. My parents have one and its one of the fastest cars I've ever driven. Nothing on the street stock and beat it minsus the ZO6 and it's only abit faster
My friend is really into cobra's. He has a 2001 and its making about 280 at the wheels. He plans on getting an 03, with full exhaust, intake and re-tuned he says it will hit 400whp. Pretty sick if you ask me!

Yep. I've seen 12.4@113 out of a bone stock '03 Cobra on stock tires.

my college professor's Lingenfelter "twin-turbo" powered Corvette Z06 would probably take it by a foot or two
