oil light
well here we go again.. one thing after another.. anyways chek this out.. sunday i got this killer kill i raced a 350 camaro ss on nos.. spanked his ***.. well i heard a noise coming from the car so we pulled the valve cover off and the gears jumped about 2 teeth each.. so now i crying because i think i bent some valves.. but thank god i didnt ANYWAYS my car had a oil leak it was the oil pump.. so we changed it out.. now the oil light is on.. when i start driving it the light start flashes on and off on and off.. any ideas.. thanks

Porbably spun some bearings or something. I would put an oil gauge on the car and check to see if you have oil pressure.

if i spun some bearing would the motor be noisy.. my boys hatched did that and you can hear i rocking???? motor is quite and still running good

yea definitely hook up a gauge and check that out. im assuming u have youre factory oil pressure sending unit hooked up right? try pulling out the small 12mm plug in the front passenger side of the head and run a tempory line and gauge to check it at idle and when u rev it up, obviously let the car warm up all the way so u can get accurate readings

well i got the result.. believe it or not there was no oil psi.. i say 5 if i was lucky.. ive been driven the car for four days.. yes i know im a fuking dumb *** .. i pulled the oil pan off and found the problem.. car running strong doesnt look like any damage occur.. thanks for all the input
