Default Equipment required to tune hondata???

just out of curiousity what is required to tune the hondata system. obviously a dyno, chip burner, laptop. what hondata software and system is needed and about how much does it cost. and do u need different equipment to tune both the newer and older version of hondata. thanks

well you will need:

Hondata s200b
Rom editor
Datalogging(required for rom editor for some reason)
Chip Burner
and most important a wideband02

you dont always have to have a dyno, i do a lot of street tuning....

nope, the aem ems doesnt need a chip burner, you just connect a serial cable

I would also HIGHLY recommend the Romulator.

damn...i wanted to get all these things and street tune my car as well...but $$$ is an issue.

romulator is to tune on the fly correct?

what's the emulator then?

the Pocket Programmer is basically to burn chips right? if it is, i can just buy a generic chip burner right?

Romulator allows you to make changes on the fly with downloading the ROM to the emulator each time. It will save you tons of time tuning. Only way to go if you tune yourself.
