just swapped a b16 into my 95 cx and I installed my vafc. The vafc says throttle is 100% all the time. Checked all the wires like 10 times and swapped TPS's. WTF?!?!?

 

get your vafc checked out by apex,,,thats my 0.02

 

I just took it out of my other car and it was working perfectly.

 

do u have a friend with another vafc?if so leave your wires pluged into your ecu and try theirs.it sounds like there would be a wiring problem,but u said u have coverd that.Btw i had a customer who bought one used, the guy he got it from said it worked good,,,but when we hooked it up,,vtec cel and the map sen readings were wrong.i left his wiring hooked up and tryied mine in my car and it worked,,,again my .02

 

that is a possibility but it was working 30 mins earlier.

I've got 5 volts to all three wires on the tps

 

does anyone know wich wire goes to which pin on the ecu?

im saying you have the wires spliced onto the tps incorrectly!!!
i cant remember what color to what color, but i bet your tps ground and your tps signal are reversed

 

I only spliced the wire for the signal at the ECU.

 

Iam also getting a cel for the MAP, ECT, & IAT and I know that the MAP and ECT are good.

 

mine is wierd too. never hits 100%. most is like 10%. what is the sensor check for the throttle body supposed to read on the unit?

 

.45-.5 at idle & 5.xxx at full throttle
