How do you tighten the drivers side upper corner manifold nut?
Anyone have a trick for this?
The placement of the wastegate flange makes sockets useless and the vacuum line coming out of the wastegate makes turning a wrench on it damn hard....

Yeah, so I'm tightening everything down. Sucks, seems like I need to take off the wastegate to tighten the manifold down....

Take off the thick bracket that holds the PS on, and remove another little metal piece behind it. With both of those removed, its cake.

Was thinking about that. Maybe that's the best course of action. Do you think that would be easier than taking off the wastegate?

The wastegate is held down by two bolts. Which do you think is easier?

Yeah, no joke. It's getting the damn dumptube out of/back into where it is that's the hard part.

As easy as taking the wastegate off is I think I could probably get better leverage and travel with the PS bracket removed....

You definitely can...and the bracket is 2 bolts for the thick one, 2 for the thin metal...takes all of 90 seconds to remove.

Sounds like a plan.
