Default Anyone with water leakage problem?

Did a search, and only not a lot of help. Checked the weather strips and they are fine. As some of you know, Houston encountered heavy rain and flooding yesterday. I was fortunate not to to drive, but when I went to get something from the back seat today, the middle portion of just the bottom seat was soaked. The fold down portions were completely dry. Could there be a leak in the floorboard?

Well I did a search too and found nothing. But I remember reading a thread recently, either here or on ITRCA, and the guy was asking about 'recall issues or common breakage' on the ITR. His replies were basically all good about the ITR except someone mentioned.....'it has that typical Integra hatch leak problem'.
So.....at first I thought nothing of it ( my tire well get wet after a rain shower, even if the car is parked and worse it I drive) but then a customer of mine said he experienced hatch water infiltration and today I have a friends' 1996 Integra RS and he has 1 inch of water in the tire well. On top of that , his rear seats are soaked.

Can anyone elaborate on the symtoms, cause and remedies? Is this isolated cases or regular problems the 94+ Integra encounters? To date I have seen it in a 96, ITR 98 and a 00.

Any help?

my 98 did it.. the seam that was welded in the hatch channel had a small hole in it.. let all kinds of water in..

other common sources in the rear are: small triangular window seals, antenna, taillight seals..

Don't forget the rubber weather seals around the hatch and doors. Besure to check them for any rips or tears.

Edit... You allready looked at them

My tail lights have been taking in moisture, but nothing in the interior of the car.

Wow this is crazy...many people have the water problem but in different areas.
Today I checked my customer car ( the 96) and the taillights were full of water and it seemed to infiltrate thru the lower trunk area.
I have siliconed the taillight gaskets and other suspect cracks and I'll keep you guys posted.
Thanks for the link and the ideas.

BTW, does anyone remember the thread about warranty...and someone mentioned afterwards habitual hatch leak?

This situation sucks the biggie as the #1 cause of an Acura/Honda demise...is rust...dohhh!!!
