My clutch is about to go and I need to get a new one. Has anyone gone with the extreme pressure plate and street disk from ACT? If so what are your opinions. As far as my setup, i make about 25-30 hp over stock and rev to 9500-9800 (via vafc) during first and second gear normally and 8600-9000 throughout the rest of the gears. This is a daily driver driven hard
I do not think that the heavy duty pressure plate will be able to handle the the rpms that it will see.

Xt-SS here mated with Fidanza flywheel. It has been in the car for 20k plus and not a single problem, holds any launch no matter the tire and will chirp 4th if let out.
ACT XT-SS will take the abuse and hold the power!

Almost the same setup I have, ACT XT-SS with Comptech FW, takes anything I toss at it and a stiff pedal but not tooo much either.
I would go with this again if and when I need.

ive driven both extreme and heavy duty pressure plate and both are really nice. if u do alot of stop and go traffic on ur daily drive.. i could see the extreme pressure plate getting annoying. other wise, both are great.
The act clutches are rated @ torque, i dont see revs affecting its effectiveness. My opinoin save your money and the stiff pedal feel of the xt/ss and go with the heavy duty. Its rated to around 240 ft lbs of torque obviosly more than you have or will make. It will support your power and have a streetable feel.
Ive ran both on my car, i like the feel of the heavy duty, but I could tell the difference in the xtreme. It's your call, u thats my .02 cents.
