Default Does anyone know how to check for CELs on these new civics? I have a new si...

I was reading through my service manual, and there is a read out of MIL's (Malfunction Indicator Lamp). Now if there is a read out and it shows the number of flashes next to each detection...there's got to be a way. So I look at the bottom and it says when it's lit, you can jump the SCS (Service Check Signal) with a Honda PGM Tester...all a PGM tester is, is a connector that jumps a connection..just like using a wire that I would use for my previous civic (97 EX). So then I tried looking through to find this SCS..only thing I've come across so far is the wire, it's pin number 29 in connector 31P E of the ecu. I found the wire, but it's getting me all confused. I'm used to finding a connector then jumping it with a wire...like I did with my older car. But this is a wire going into a connector to the ecu...if I take out the connector the cel, of course goes away. So I'm not sure if I need to splice into the wire or not, or follow it back to where ever the hell it goes, and hopefully find a connector to jump.
For those interested in the CEL codes for the new si:

Any help would be great...I've tried searching, but nothing for the new si's or rsx's

Dang 02, I could have sworn I saw that discussion on here somewhere. Couldn't find it either, hopefully someone else can confirm there's a thread that exists...it might be in one of the "K20 into a EK/old chassis" type threads.

yeah, I tried looking again, no luck.

I also tried taking a wire and jumping the ecu pin scs wire, and a ground wire. I thought for sure that would be it, but no luck. I just don't understand what it means by, jumping the scs wire...
