Will any ITR cold air intake (AEM, Injen,comptech icebox) be a direct fit on my Ek with a b16a2? I have a stock intake manifold. The 99-00 Si intake won't fit because I do not have the hole where the cold air part goes? I want cold air, my shortram is not cutting it. Any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

 

Anyone? No one with a b16 in an Ek has cold air? What intake do you use? I tried a search, but none of them answered this question directly. Thanks

Seems like a little modification with the Si CAI, but the ITR CAI will fit.

 

I am ready to buy an ITR, but now hear that it rubs the engine mount and coolant overflow. (This is for a b16a2 in a Ek with ITR intake). Anyone have pics of ITR intake on a b16 Ek?

 

that is true i have a B16a in a EK and the ITR AEM will rub the AC lines thats about it. If i were you i would just get the 99-00 SI comptech icebox, i like it alot better than the AEM ITR CAI

 

In my case I do not have A/C so hopefully I will be alright. I agree with your opinion about the Comptech Icebox, but after buying the Comptech intake and filter for $189 and then an additional $165 for the icebox, I will be at twice the price for an AEM cold air. I am a baller on a budget.
