del sol rear sway question

Default del sol rear sway question

does anybody know if del sol S's already have the mounting holes for the rear sways? i already have the lower control arms but im not sure if my car has the spots for it

Well look at the LCA's and see if the there are holes for the sway bar bolts. Pretty simple. Not sure by model, but its easy to tell by looking.

No the S or Si don't have mounting holes for the rear sway bars. Many upgrade to the more beefier GSR lower control arms. I believe neuspeed makes something to work with the S or Si stock LCA's. Don't know of any others. And if you got some cash to spend, look into the SRR rear LCA, they're sexy

The '96 and '97 Sis had sway bars, too. Considering the fact that Civics that didn't have sway bars didn't have mounting brackets, I would venture a guess that it's the same with del Sols. Easiest way is to look at the LCA.

yea i already have the LCA's for the sway but my question is on the frame itself. are there holes there ready for th sway to be mounted?

They are there. Im trying to do the same thing, I believe you MAY have to open up one of the holes a bit, I cant remember right now. But that should be easy if you get all the hardware....I would also suggest a Beaks,or BSQ kit.
