i was once told that the b18c5, was a hand built motor???

to some extent, the head is but I don't think the block is.

the head is hand finished - ie slight port match, little bit of deburring, what ever the guy at honda can do with a die grinder in 5 minutes before his lunch break.

The rod bolts are also torqued by hand.
