Default Quick question about aging/corrosion of a motor

since the head, block, and tranny are all aluminum, would it make sense that each one is at a different stage of wear/corrosion? shouldnt they all be at about the same point of wear? i am asking bc the place i got my motor from was real shady about my motor, and it looks like they pieced the motor together and gave me it, instead of gettin the JDM one i asked for. there are a bunch of other things that go along with it as well, but my main concern is about the corrosion.

i think the honda block is iron..it depends on if good coolant was used to fight corrosion

the block is aluminum.

they could easily be showing different signs of age... slightly different casting processes, or materials can play a huge part in the longevity of the parts.
