I have a problem with my JDM ITR( swapped to my 97 gsr). The JDM ITR ecu I have is working fine but not the p28 mugen spec ecu. It's giving me engine code 22-vtec switch. If I have a problem with the vtec switch, shouldn't the engine light turn on with the JDM ecu also? Can you you guys help me fix the problem? Advice?

 

this is just a guess but i think i might be right... i dont think the JDM itr ecu looks for the vtec pressure switch... but the usdm p28 does...

 

Run a jumper wire between the VTEC solenoid and VTEC PS wire to trick the P28 ECU into thinking there is a VTEC PS present. This will eliminate the CEL you are experiencing.

Yup, what he said. A helms comes in handy here to find the 2 pinout locations at the ecu where these are.

hey kenji, your pm option doesn't work or is disabled... how much for a p28 w/ mugen program shipped? it'd be for my b20/vtec....
