Default need opinions please read..........

Please some comments would be greatly appreciated . Here is what im working with I have a 92 integra LS 5spd and my tranny is shot ,A1 tranny 2nd 3rd gear syncros going out . my initial plan was to get the tranny rebuilt with a quaife lsd and new clucth and flywheel . but thats alot of money . or i could get a b16 motor swap use that tranny till my ls motor goes out and use the b16 motor, but im ify about the b16 due to the tq and tegs arent the lightest hondas, my ls motor has a few mods cams, intake, headers, exhaust. its pretti quick but i feal the tranny with its long gears is just putting me behind . but my initial plan for rebuilding the ls tranny is so i could use it with the turbo i will be putting together soon. Im still getting a turbo setup regardless of what tranny i go with. Wanted to use the long gears ya know but , I just dont know , guess thats why i posted here, g2ic is down so came here but im always on here but never post just searching and looking and what not.
Also another thought is putting a gsr in my teg but with what tranny ..

Sorry if my post got confusing. Thanks to everyone that views and posts.

not confusing at all
just get a ls tranny since you are going turbo
the longer gears will benefit the turbo.

Not really.

People say "LS trans is better due to being able to stay in boost longer".

Thats true, but that doesn't mean you are going faster.

The reason you "Stay in boost longer" is because, you are accelerating slower.

I say lose the LS and get a b16(if not, B18c1) but I would still go with the b16 turbo. I'm sure there's lack of torque in the beginning but at high end it will roar like a lion. If you plan on doing lots of drag racing, your rpm is always gonna be high plus quaife LSD, where could go wrong with a B16 turbo. Also, you can built the b16 motor to get more lower end torque at the same time recieve extremely well high end power. Invest something that has VTEC. Don't settle for less. plus the valve cover looks better too

The only reason people would say the LS tranny is better on a boosted honda, is because of traction. Since you accelerate slower, you would hook better. (on a street tire). On a properly sized slick, you will go faster with a shorter geared trans.

id get a b18c tranny; fits nicely between the short geared b16 and the long geared b18b.
