i have a 95 dx civic and i recently accuired a 95 z6 ported and polished head. its a 5 angle port and polish. im doing the swap soon and i just wanted to know if anybody has had any experience with this before. i don't want to do it wrong. ive read up and i know how, im just wondering if this head swap will last. i have 130,000 miles on my car. should i replace the bottum end before doing anything? i have a p 28 ecu, the ex intake manafold and the rest of the stock internal for the head.

 

remember to pull the oil jet out. Which timing belt are u going to use the ex or the vx? my timing belt whines and i used an vx so u may want to go with the ex one.

 

I did one recently and the hardest part was pulling the crankshaft pulley. If you use a impact gone, get one more then 250 ft/lbs, i used a 230, and couldnt get it out, so we used a really long breaker bar. in oder to wire your vtec, you might also need some pins, so try to get a old ecu plug from another honda to use its pin.
