Default compression test results

Well my engine has been smoking white only sometimes and I finally did a compression test. I have a b18a 92 teggie turbocharged.
The readings are 180, 180 ,130 , 180.
I then added oil to the 3rd cylinder and it jumped up to 140 psi.
I checked coolant and oil and no mixture between them yet. Oil does leak a little from the head and coolant is going down. It does smell like coolant though sometimes. Well, going to take off head and see what's going on. Most likely headgasket.. ..... what do you think.....????????????

From your compression test results it looks like cylinder 3 of your motor has a faulty piston ring. If you test your compression and one cylinder happens to fall +-20psi of the others you should bring it to a qualified tech immediately. As for the oil leakage, your head gasket might need replacement soon and pinpoint where the coolant is loeaking from. Always make sure you pinpoint the exact location of the leakage before making any assumptions. Sometimes the oil could be leaking off the side of the motor but instead the oil could be leaking from the cam seals instead of the head gasket. Good Luck

Cheers

numbers are from a b18a non vtec-lower compression-which is normal for a used b18a motor
i dont think the oil is leaking from anywhere else because luckily it is close to the front of the engine where I can see it
thanks for the replies though-I will do a leakdown test next to really determine it what the cause is-I hope it is not a piston ring though-that will suck bigtime-

Good idea....

Unfortunately, does sound like a bad ring.
