LS/VTEC trade -
What do you guys think?
In exchange for my 99 GSR block + $500 (for labor) i will get:
LS bottom end
20 over bore/ endyn pistons
Civic type 12.5 (mentioned something about 12.1) compression piston
stock rods
new rod bearings
main bearings
micro polish and balance crank
new oil pump/water pump
pan
oil return line - head gasket intake gasket
and again, all of this installed.
all of this in addition to my all motor setup w/ toda b's - how much power do you guys think? reliability compared to my stock gsr bottom?? Thanks!

it's simple why they want to trade.
GSR blocks are way better, and since you DRIVE a GSR then that's a 100% sure shot for them that your block is legit.
i'm not saying this motor is hot. i have no clue.
but everyone knows a GSR block is way better than a LS block.
a GSR block with a LS crank and rods in it is even BETTER. heh.

gsr blocks also look stronger than the ls blocks just from a quick external comparison... next time u have an ls and gsr block around... compare the 2... ull see what i mean
