Crazy ECU Code
i know it wont help you much but here is a list of ecu codes. it doesnt have 36 listed. GL to you bro

Usually the code 36 comes from something like a P13 ECU that uses 4WS steering. The smaller plug with the blue/white wires is the for the 4WS and is usually not found on a B-series ECU. Are you sure you're reading the CEL correctly?
code 36 is for the TCS as in Traction control system, found on some EG9 SiRs. Definatly a valid code.

above is also a example not so much of 4WS but 4th plug which is used for TCS on the BB Preludes. Its even outlined in the Fields instructions
