Default F22 Crank in H22

I heard if you put the crank from a F22 Accord 90-93, and the rods. It wil give more displacement, as if doing an h23 crank and rods, is this true

thanks

As far as I know nothing. Think about how the engines were deveopled. The 85mm bore F22 came in 1989-90, 95mm stroke 141.5ish rods. Then they developed FRM and used the same F22 structure to make the H23. THen they threw on VTEC and destroked it to get the H22.

Long story short all aftermarket rods for the H23 are the same as the F22, same crank same everything. check part numbers if you want I guess.

so essentially all I would have to do is add in the crank and the rods from the f22 I have, and then I would have a h23vtec motor..... pretty crazy. But I am guessing I would have to resleeve it and all that blah blah but at least I no I can have a h23 pretty easy

H23 and F22 crank and rods are the same P/N.

You wouldn't need to resleeve to make a 2.3VTEC, just use stock pistons

Yep, the F22 crank and rods are the same as the H23.

just out of curiousity, if I wanted to put in prelude Type S pistons, would I have to resleeve it then?

my plan was going to be use the crank and rods I have, then buy some JDM type s pistons...

thanks for the help guys!
