Ok so for the past two days straight i have been searching and reading all about this subect of swaping an F22/H23 crank and rods in the H22 for the increased stroke.

I have a 98 BB6 with the H22A4 of course now someone said that starting in 98 the main journals are 55mm. Now I know that the F22 and H23 have 50mm main journals.

Now my question is are there any F22/H23 crank that might fit that does have 55mm mains maybe they had an update like the h22 of am I SOL and have to get an older style block? Or is there even another crank i could use that has the same 95mm stroke

so after somemore searching some one is saying the 98+ jdm H23 as 55mm mains...any truth to this?

i think the f23 is a 55main

yup the a4 has 55mm main you u have to use the crank that came with it or the f20b crank and the f23 crank will work aswell

so the f20b has a 95mm stroke with the 55mm mains?...I know the f23 has a 97mm stroke which i dont believe will work

That was why I am wanting another crank is for the 95mm stroke

I know I need a H23/F22 crank i just want to know if any of them have 55mm mains so I can put it in my 98+ H22a4 block
