HELP!!1 VTEC is not OPENING!!!
Tonight In my brother's EM1-00 Si we were on the highway and VTEC was working fine,but then later on we being tailgatd and the engine would not crack VTEC we took up 2 6500 rpm and still no sign of VTEC....what the hells going on? I need some major help cause we can't afford to take it to the HONDA dealership what can be causing the VTEC not to engage.

vtec measures alot of other things too though right, coolant temp, oil pressure/level. im not sure about the other variables but it could def. be a few more things.

no only oil pressure but vtec would still engage, unless there is really low oil pressure. pull the cannister off and see if u broke the spring or spun the silinoid pressure valve. x3 10mm and 10 min.
