Shoes = wheels.

If you're keeping your drums, get the Wilwood front brake upgrade.

I have 96 ITR discs.

aah sorry, automatically thought you were referring to wheels. I don't know much about the aftermarket for drum brakes. I would replace them with discs.

Even IF a good company made drums... they aren't going to do next to anything...

Believe me I've had rear drums on both of my cars... and kept them in constant adjustment... they just don't do anything compared to disks...

The conversion is cheap and easy... it's really not worth keeping the rear drums unless you HAVE to due to class restrictions or something... in that case I'd sell my car and get an SI that came with disks...

The ONLY thing drums do better is act as a parking brake... that's IT.

As far as your original question... I'd go for a 4wheel teg upgrade... just swap it all on and get the master/booster and prop valve too...

If you're stuck with drums... just get any shoes... "performance shoes" won't make a difference and if they do they'll just overheat and cause fade...
