im doing a brake upgrade soon and was wondering what other eg owners have.
i want something for the street and a little drag maybe autox..
so an all around good brake system. .
o and by the way i got a cx hatch and im keeping my drums (any good aftermarket shoes?)

brembo slotted, some good pads. i dont know what your budget is... but you can get the mugen front braking system, mugen calipers,rotors,brake lines
endless, project mu, stoptech, brembo. all good brake upgrades

aah sorry, automatically thought you were referring to wheels. I don't know much about the aftermarket for drum brakes. I would replace them with discs.

brembo with ebc pads are what a friend of mine with a gsr is telling me for the price its unbeatable.
anyone know of shoes tho for drums... ( don't wanna do disks back there)

Even IF a good company made drums... they aren't going to do next to anything...
Believe me I've had rear drums on both of my cars... and kept them in constant adjustment... they just don't do anything compared to disks...
The conversion is cheap and easy... it's really not worth keeping the rear drums unless you HAVE to due to class restrictions or something... in that case I'd sell my car and get an SI that came with disks...
The ONLY thing drums do better is act as a parking brake... that's IT.
As far as your original question... I'd go for a 4wheel teg upgrade... just swap it all on and get the master/booster and prop valve too...
If you're stuck with drums... just get any shoes... "performance shoes" won't make a difference and if they do they'll just overheat and cause fade...
