I'll be nice this time.... in a nutshell, the blocks are virtually the same, but the internals are stronger in the C5. Balanced and polished crank, stronger/lighter rods, coated pistons, etc set it apart from the GSR's components. The heads are what really set the two apart. The C5's head uses a single runner IM, where the GSR's is dual runner and has the secondaries that open @ 5800. The C5's has a mild port job, larger T/B, and won't bolt up to the GSR head. The C5's head also has a factory port job, lightweight valves, stiffer valvesprings, and more powerful cams. Think of the C5 as a built GSR motor using all Honda factory parts.
