I own a 00 SI with Tokico blues. They are not a year old. I was wondering do any of you guys own these and have you experienced any problems with them? I did the install myself and every time the temperature drops i.e. 50 degree or less, I have been experiencing a rattling noise from my suspension. I have yet to inspect, any advise or thoughts would be appreciated.

 

Is it in the front or the rear? i have a rattle because the dumb *** before i bought the car decieded he wanted to take the sway bar off or change it out (never got done) tryed loosending the end link and then stripped it out and now it is kinda in there but not all the way and when i hit a bump it goes clunk clunk. Also how low are you? Tokicos are gas shocks right? if it gets really cold wouldn't the gas molicules shrink thus cousing more stroke and bottoming out the shock?

If i am wrong just let all this go i am very tired but i can't sleep

Honestly, since you installed them yourself and are prone to errors (like us all), my advise would be to inspect it, and then come report back here afterwords with more details to your problem.

 

The rattling is from the rear suspension and yes they're gas. Yes you are correct VX, I need to inspect asap.
