anyone experience rattling???
i just installed a set of adj. coilovers with new strut bushings and there seems to be a rattling noise coming from my rear suspension and trunk when i hit a bump. is there anything to blame for this? and can i fix this? or is it just something i have to deal with?

I have a similar problem, I believe its due to either the progressive coils of my springs hitting against each other, or possibly that I didn't cut my bumpstops and my shocks are bottoming out prematurely... I haven't been able to figure it out, but it seems to be a common problem from what I've read. Tightening up my shocks did help some, so try that and see.

No rattle here...just a clunk sound in the rear passenger wheel when i go through a speedbump. This is with my eibach springs. Supposedly, its just dead coil area hitting each other.

i noticed someone mention bumpstops, where is that located? cuz when i lowered my car, i did have my shocks bottoming out, so i had to raise it back up a bit to give the shocks more room to move! maybe this is my problem?!

they're located on the strut rod

the #s represent where the bumpstop would be on a strut, its basically a rubber/polyer (i think) type cushion.
