Same problem here, Sounds like it's those lil springs on the cat.

Haven't really looked into it though.

thats what it sounds like to me, r u using a custom shift linkage- when i first did mine i had to adjust it cuz the linkage was hitting the pipe

The noice is coming from the bottom of the car not the front. It only makes the noicet when I shift not when I'm driving. What did you have to do to get it fix????

Check your shift linkage. Jack up the car, put it on jack stands and have someone shift gears (motor not running) while you look at (under car) what is making the noise. More than likely it is the shift linkage hitting something or a bolt/nut loose.
