CEL TDC sensor position...Help?

Default CEL TDC sensor position...Help?

Hey just the other day when i started my car, it was silent...no crank or nothing...as i held the key in the start position for a while, my check engine light came out...forgot exactly what code it threw out ( i think it was 8), but it is the TDC sensor position...something like that...anybody experience this b4??? and how did you go about fixing it...now sometimes i have to hold my key in the start position for a while b4 it starts up...weird but i just need to know if anybody has had this problem b4...any help will do...thanks!

in OBD1s, its in the distributor. change it, see if it goes away, heh.

EDIT: actually, nevermind, dont change it. see if there is continuity from it to the pinout on the ECU. maybe be a bad wire. or a bad connector.
