Please, I Really Need Wheel Help
This is starting to worry me now, I've had the Yokohoma A032s on my stock rims for over a month. I want those to be my track only set, but I just can't find a decent set of 16x7 wheels, to go with 215/16/45 tires. Any recommendations will be much appreciated. As for tires, I am almost certain to go with RE010s, since the S03s don't come in the above size. That's $170x4 = $680. Still leaves me with right around $1200 for wheels, so I can go as high as $300 per wheel. Obviously, I am looking for something lightweight and high quality. Looks are important, but not too critical.
I also would recommend the Azenis tire, roughly $100/tire, so that leaves you w/ plenty of options at $400/wheel...spoons are just a little more...TE37's can be had for that price too...
I agree with zygspeed. You should try the SSr competitions for what you have to spend. They are probably the best out there. However, I don't think that tirerack sells them in 16 inch. Volks, mugen, spoon, and advan are a bit more money, but do come in the soze you are looking for.
Why don't you keep the stock rims for street and get lightweights for the track? Isn't that the purpose of light weight rims to begin with?
Since you said looks aren't critical, I think the stock rims are fine for the street. 215/16/45 aren't exactly the most popular size to look for.
Just a suggestion, but I would go with stock rims and Falken Azenis 205/50/15 for street and your R compounds on a set of lightweight 15's such as K1, Rota Slipstream or Sub Zero and spend the rest of the money elsewhere. You can get more expensive rims too, but I would just save it up for track events, tires, brake pads and more important wear and tear items.
Well, all said, that's what I would do. It's indeed your money, so spend it where you want. But just some suggestions from a fellow Honda guy.

Well, I really do want to upgrade to bigger tires/wheels for the street. That's the main reason. But for track, I am staying with stock rims and it's far easier to find r compount tires in 205/50/15s. As for 215/45/16s, this is the JDM size, isn't it? I know they're hard to find. I may very well opt for 205/45/16s. I am guessing that if I can't find what I am looking for, I might stay 15s all the way.

215/45/16 are hard to find in North America. A compatible R compound for 16 inchers are impossible to find in here. Too bad that in Asia, they're rather abundant!
well, it sounds like you want some nice 16" or bigger rims for the street and the stockers for the track...
Figure out what rims will be light and look nice for the street and that you like.
Then budget around that decision.
If you need suggestions, just say so and we'll be happy to post up.

do you have friends/ family in NY?
I have a number of business contacts there that I can't get ahold of...
I agree with many of ILOVERACING's posts: we all need to come together and support/ help those in need in these dark times.
I apologize if I've offended you or anyone.

The Kosei k1 Racing is the only wheel that meets your criteria (light, good quality, correct size and offset). Just be sure you get the offset of 42 or more. I think there is another lower offset that they have.
