MS autocross weekend
Me and a few friends went to Genada MS this weekend for some autocrossing. It was held on an airstrip, or runway so the track was long and fast. I am used to the tight, more slow tracks. This was the first one like this i have ever done. I jusat got a lead foot all weekend and i kept on going too hot in the corners and as soon as i hit the brakes my back end let go. I have a 92 Integra with H&R Race springs, Tokico adjustables, and Yokohama ES100's. I love the way it handles, but man I don't think i even need a bigger sway bar for the back. On Sun. there was a long sweeper that i came into probably twice as fast as I should have and as soon as I let off the gas too slow down, my back end just let go and I went sliding for like 10 seconds it felt like. I put both feet in and hung on for dear life. When i quit sliding, I was praying my car was ok. I think the only thing that happened to it was some flat spots on the tires due to me sliding around on almost every run. Just thought I would share an autocross story. It would have benn a lot more fun if i had not pushed the car so hard and just slowed down.
It does and i hate it. I am debating on wether or not i need a bigger sway bar. All I do now is turn up the back shocks all the way and it's stiff as hell.
