The LS V-tec ITR piston with ls rod and a stock GSR head on it. In a Eg
My bet is going to the ITR but want to see had anybody ever seen what really happen.

sorry no times yet but im still just babying the motor and havent ran it hard yet, i want to get it on a dyno and do it right before i run around revving to the high heavens and breaking something.

 

i just picked up an ls vtec almost same setup lemme finish up restoring it and well see how it runs against an r maybe ill find one modified i'd like to see someone else with same ls vtec jump in on this

will be close, mostly dependant on the driver.

lol a TRU vtec motor?! what are you talking about?!... you can build an ls/vtec just as bad as any bored out built to **** TRU vtec motor. If you ever built one you know there not that cheap and will run laps around most of the other hondas out there.

 

what about the driver's skill of both cars? are we to assume it is equal?

 

i would have to say the lsvtec. even though the compression is lower, it has more stroke and in a lighter car.
