the antenna on the sol has given up the ghost. i can only push it half way down and the reception sucks anyway (not so un-typical of honda antenna) my question is, if yours was doin this, would you a) buy a nice, black, shiny one off ebay for $20, b) s2k antenna {how much and how?}

 

I know it's "ricey" and I may get flamed, but I have mine covered and I have the sticker wire that runs up my A pillar. Reception is good and my car doesn't look like it's remote controlled anymore

I've always liked the look of no antenna. But when my antena got fugged up, I went to AutoZone and got a cheap black replacement non-power one. I just left it up at the roof line and had good reception.

 

dude, that looks tight as hell where did you get the sticker wire from? also, what did you cover the hole up with? thanks for the great info and the pic as well, now i know what i want to do.

I think you can find em at like kragen/schucks/checkers etc... I think I bought mine at like Kmart or something....
